44 players participate in Kadamaian Fellowship Golf Tournament

TUARAN: The 2021 Kadamaian Fellowship Golf Tournament held in Nexus Karambunai Golf Club, here, last Saturday had attracted a total of 44 golfers from various organisations.
The event, hosted by Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick, saw participants and invitees from several non-governmental organisations (NGO).
The competition was divided into four categories where Kadazandusun Language Foundation Chairman Datuk Philip Lasimbang won the Invitee category while Fairuz Bandar, Walter Angang, and Martin Dualis bagged the first prize for Senior, Gross and Nett categories, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Novelty prizes were secured by Nail Sausin (Longest Drive), Verox Palalun (Nearest to Line), as well as Walter Angang and Jai Samud for the Bull’s Eye section.
Programme Organiser Charles Dalansing said the objective of the competition is for all Kadamaian community to come together for a time of fellowship and enjoyable golfing.
He added that Covid-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) and preventive measures were complied with to ensure the safety and health of all players.
