KUALA LUMPUR: Air India has optimised its network to provide faster connections from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to European destinations such as London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, and Amsterdam via India, reducing connection times to approximately 2.5 hours. To highlight these improved connection times and promote India as a world-class hub, the airline has launched a campaign called 'Via'.
The revamped flight schedule positions Air India as one of the fastest options for travel between Malaysia and Europe, with comfortable transit times at its hub in Delhi.
"India's geographical advantage and impressive airport infrastructure, combined with Air India's extensive route network, offer convenient one-stop access for travellers journeying between the East and West," stated Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer of Air India.
Air India operates daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Delhi, as well as daily services from Delhi to Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, among other South-East Asian destinations.
The airline's operations at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport facilitate seamless same-terminal transfers for guests travelling to Europe. This terminal is renowned for its world-class design, architecture, and operational efficiency, all enhanced by Indian heritage and cultural character.
Business Class passengers, Maharaja Club members, and eligible Star Alliance members can avail themselves of lounge services at these airports, ensuring maximum comfort and convenience during their stopovers.
The marketing campaign titled 'Via', which runs until March, aims to inform travellers from Malaysia about the destinations they can easily reach via India.
Flights can be booked through the airline's official website, mobile app, customer contact centre, city and airport offices, and through travel agents worldwide.
