Blood Donation Campaign "Blood Hero"

KOTA KINABALU: The "Blood Hero" 7.0 blood donation campaign, organised by the Che Hor Khor Sabah Moral Education Organisation and the Entrepreneur Education Association (EEA), is set to take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Tanjung Lipat, on the April 26 and 27, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday), from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SICC, Datuk Hajah Rosmawati Lasuki, has graciously provided the venue for this important event, ensuring that the campaign runs seamlessly.

A dedicated team of enthusiastic volunteers will be on hand at the venue to provide assistance and await donors arrival to donate blood. This blood donation campaign holds particular significance, as a single bag of blood can save up to three lives. "Blood Hero" operates on the principle of saving lives and aims to support patients in need of blood transfusions. The organisers warmly invite the public to participate in this important activity to assist those urgently requiring blood.

The campaign not only seeks to augment the blood supply in blood banks but also strives to save lives.

Teng Chong Fui, Chairman of the "Blood Hero" 7.0 Blood Donation Campaign, and Cosmas Wong, Vice Chairman, encourage everyone not to hesitate in registering and joining this vital initiative.

Additionally, the organisers will hold an information-sharing session during the campaign. One of the activities available will be an eye pressure check, and blood donors are invited to take advantage of this opportunity for an eye pressure examination.

The "Blood Hero" 7.0 Blood Donation Campaign Committee and the volunteer team are hopeful for a strong turnout to ensure the success of this event.
