Book of Inspirational Women of Sabah Archived as a Tribute to the Contributions of Women

SANDAKAN: The Book of Inspirational Women of Sabah will be documented and archived as a mark of appreciation for the services and contributions of women in the development of the nation.

The purpose of this publication is to recognise the roles of women in various fields, including education, economics, politics, health, and the arts.

Member of the Senate, Senator Anna bell @ Suzieana Perian, expressed her admiration for the achievements of successful women in their respective careers, demonstrating that they are equal to men as leaders and catalysts for change.

She made these remarks while officiating at the Inspirational Women Gala Night 2025 in Sandakan on Sunday (23 February). During the event, Senator Anna bell also launched Volume 2: 100 Inspirational Women, which was then presented to the Women’s Aspirations National Association (WAN). Additionally, the Anthology of Short Stories "Melukis Rindu" and the Anthology of Poetry "Balada Kata" by Khaty Suzanna Tati were also launched.

Chairperson of Iksnita Sabah, Datuk Dg. Khatijah Datu Bachtiyal, explained that the Inspirational Women 2025 and Inspirational Women 2024 books are compilations of the extraordinary stories and achievements of women in the fields of entrepreneurship, community service, the arts, health, and leadership.

A total of 200 inspirational women from Volumes 1 and 2 have been included in this publication, strengthening recognition of their contributions to society.
