Contributions to the Less Fortunate from the MP Penampang Service Centre

PENAMPANG: The Head of Public Relations, Bryan Matasing, along with Public Relations Officers from the P. 174 Penampang Parliament Service Centre, Alvin Lee, Charles Liew, and Jennifer Toyou, conducted a heartfelt donation handover on behalf of the Penampang Member of Parliament, Datuk Ewon Benedick.
This initiative aimed to support two individuals in need mainly Juliana Kuasi, an elderly woman from Kampung Kuai, and Thomas Simon, a cancer patient from Kampung Kandazon.
The event was marked by a spirit of community and compassion, highlighting the importance of supporting those who are less fortunate.

Also present at the handover was Billy Jinawat, the Chief of United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) KURAI Penampang's machinery and Chairman of the Moyog Welfare Community.
His involvement underscores the collaborative effort to uplift the community.
Billy Jinawat expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Ewon and the dedicated Public Relations Officers from the P. 174 Penampang Parliament Service Centre for their unwavering support.
He acknowledged the encouragement he received from UPKO Deputy President Datuk Donald P. Mojuntin and UPKO Penampang Youth Chief Billy Joe Dominic, enabling him to work alongside Datuk Ewon.
"Datuk Ewon has consistently addressed the challenges faced by our residents and the community," Billy Jinawat stated.
He emphasised the ongoing development concerns in Kampung Kandazon, Kampung Botung Navahiu, Kampung Kuai, and Kampung Mahandoi.
He firmly believes that the Ewon Benedick team will continue to strive for the welfare of residents, promote progress, and enhance the living conditions in these villages over time.
"Even if the improvements come gradually, they will ultimately benefit the people in these four villages," he added, reinforcing the commitment to fostering a supportive and resilient community.
