Cooking and Distributing Bubur Lambuk and Iftar Event at UCSF

KOTA KINABALU: University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) recently hosted a cooking and distributing event for bubur lambuk at its campus in Sembulan.

The activity was attended by UCSF's Vice-Chancellor, Datuk Dr Rafiq Idris, along with staff and students of UCSF.

Cooking commenced in the morning and took several hours before the bubur was packaged for distribution to the surrounding neighbourhoods near the Sembulan campus.

This included the distribution of bubur to students and staff of UCSF, nearby colleges, local schools, and individuals at several strategic locations in Sembulan in the afternoon.

The event was further enlivened by an iftar programme and tarawih prayers, bringing together the UCSF community.

Dr Rafiq remarked that this type of programme is an annual university activity that involves both students and staff.

"It fosters and strengthens ties among the students and staff of UCSF, as well as the nearby Sembulan community," he stated.

Also present at the iftar event was UCSF Board Member, Douglas Joinol.
