COVID-19: FIVE STUDENTS, FOUR TEACHERS OF SM ST. MICHAEL PENAMPANG TEST POSITIVE

KOTA KINABALU: A total of five students and four teachers of SM St. Michael, Penampang have tested positive for Covid-19 from Jan 26 to Feb 3.
Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said, the transmissions in the school started from a family member who tested positive for the virus.
"No cases have reported after Feb 3. So far, there is yet any information or clarification on whether they are involved in any cluster," he said during a press conference here, today.
According to Masidi, there are a total of number four students and 14 teachers from eight schools in Sandakan that were ordered to close previously who tested positive for the virus.
He stated that the schools involved are SM St. Mary, SMK Batu Sapi, SMK Elopura Bestari, SMK Perempuan, SMK Sandakan, Kolej Vokasional Sandakan, SM St. Cecelia, and SMK Agama Tun Juhar.
"We are pleased to inform that at this time, all the schools have opened and started operating again," he said.
