EMCO IN KAMPUNG BALUNG COCOS, KUNAK STARTING JULY 1

KOTA KINABALU: Kampung Balung Cocos in Kunak will be placed under enhanced movement control order (EMCO) starting July 1 and ending on July 14.
In a statement today, Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Masidi Manjun said, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has conducted screening to the locality involved and found out nine cumulative total of positive cases.
Masidi added the decision to impose EMCO on these localities was made so that targeted screening can be conducted towards the public in an effort to curb the spread of the virus to other communities.
