PENAMPANG: Entrepreneurs value TEKUN Nasional financing primarily because it offers accessible capital with flexible terms, making it easier to start and manage their businesses. Budding and Small Entrepreneurs in Kimanis, Membakut and surrounding area will have better access to TEKUN as today, the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDC) Datuk Ewon Benedick, inaugurated the Kimanis Branch Office of TEKUN Nasional, located at Level 1, Lot 18, Block C, Membakut Jaya.
TEKUN members expressed their gratitude, after they received mock cheques to signal the approval of their loans.

Zulezah Zainal Abidin, 33, from Kg Nabawan, expressed her gratitude for the loan approval, stating it will significantly boost her sales.
"I've been selling fish for two years and find it to be a profitable venture. I plan to use the loan to purchase more fish, thereby increasing my business capital."
This mother of six believes the additional income will greatly benefit her family, and augment her husband’s income as he is self-employed.

Norah Daud, 58, a single mother who sells food and drinks in Membakut old town, is excited about the RM3,000 loan, which will allow her to expand her offerings.
She explained that the funds will also be used to make "kuih raya" (traditional festive cakes) and fulfill cookie orders during the Hari Raya celebration.
"I am incredibly grateful for this loan. It's the first loan I've taken since starting my business 10 years ago," she shared.

Norashikin Ag Amas, a resilient mother of four from Kg Pimping, has been dedicated to selling traditional dry biscuits, or "kuih kering," such as Kuih Jala and Kuih Sapit, for several years.
Following the loss of her husband last year, she has been determined to expand her business to secure a better future for her children.
"I am deeply grateful for the opportunities that have come my way, including requests to supply vendors at the Central Market. This loan will be a crucial step in helping me grow my business and provide for my family," she shared with optimism.

Musnih Edin, a dedicated entrepreneur from Kg Mawao, has been granted RM11,000 to support the expansion of his fish pond business.
Expressing his gratitude, Musnih shared that the loan will play a pivotal role in scaling up his operations and boosting his business.
In addition to managing his fish pond, he also supplies fish fries, contributing to the local aquaculture industry.
"This loan means a great deal to me. It will help me expand my fish pond and take my business to the next level," Musnih said, highlighting his appreciation for the opportunity to grow his venture and strengthen his livelihood.
This entrepreneur who has been running his business for the last 30 years reflect a commitment to sustainable growth and community contribution.

Suryani Kanude, from Kg Pimping Membakut is a determined entrepreneur. She has been granted an RM3,000 loan to bolster her fruit stall business.
She expressed heartfelt gratitude for the financial support, emphasizing how impactful it will be in providing the necessary capital to grow her venture.
"This loan is incredibly helpful and comes at just the right time. It will allow me to stock up on more fresh fruits and improve my business," Suryani shared, highlighting her optimism for the future.

Norbayah Dugapar of Bongawan, has received approval for an RM5,000 loan, which she plans to invest in her restaurant specializing in satay and kelupis.
In addition to running her restaurant, Norbayah also caters to weddings and events, showcasing her culinary expertise to a wider audience.
Expressing her joy and gratitude, she said, "I am thrilled to receive this loan. It will make a significant difference in expanding my business and improving my services."
She firmly believes that the financial support will go a long way in helping her achieve her goals and further establish her reputation as a trusted caterer and restaurateur. Her determination and passion for her craft continue to drive her success.
All the entrepreneurs expressed their thanks and appreciation to the MADANI Government and Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick for his commitment in promoting entrepreneurship among the people.
