Ewon held friendly visit at Tamu Donggongon

PENAMPANG: Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate for Penampang parliamentary seat Datuk Ewon Benedick went for a friendly visit at Tamu Sangadau Donggongon, here, on Thursday.
The United Kinabalu Progressive Organization (UPKO) Vice President was accompanied by DAP’s Kapayan State Assembly Member Jannie Lasimbang.
Besides meeting fellow traders in the area, they also visited the Mobile Service Counter provided by the Kapayan Assemblyman's Liaison Office every week in Donggongon Town.
The upcoming 15th General Election (GE15) for Penampang Parliamentary seat will see a clash between two respected young leaders – Ewon and the Penampang Parliamentary seat holder Parti Warisan (Warisan) Deputy President Datuk Darell Leiking.
Ewon said he is ready to offer new leadership and serve the people of Penampang.
Previously in GE14, Darell won the Penampang Parliamentary seat with a total of 32,470 votes beating other candidates.
In addition to Darell and Ewon, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is also expected to place their candidate, Kenny Chua, who is representing Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR). However, there has been no official announcement so far.
The nomination day for GE15 is set on Nov 5, while early voting is on Nov 15 while Nov 19 is the actual polling day.
