16 OCTOBER 2020
KOTA BELUD: Kadamaian State Assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick has taken the initiative to provide food aid for Kadamaian residents who are undergoing mandatory home quarantine order.
The aid was hoped to help reduce the burden of the villagers he said, especially those who could not go out to buy their necessities, such as food.
“I have been informed that a total of 68 residents in Kadamaian are currently undergoing home quarantine.
"Therefore, to complement the efforts made by the Kota Belud District Office, I have also provided food baskets to those involved," he said after sending the food assistance to the Kadamaian Assembly Office here, Friday.
According to Ewon, the distribution of the food baskets will be managed by the secretariat of Kadamaian Assembly Liaison Office.
He also reminded the people in the state to continue complying with the standard operating procedure (SOP) throughout the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) period to help curb the spread of Covid-19.
