Ewon welcomes public to attend Christmas celebration at Penampang Cultural Centre, Dec 25

KUALA LUMPUR: Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick welcomes the public to attend the Majlis Ramah Mesra event in conjunction with Christmas celebration this Dec 25.

The event will be held in the Penampang Cultural Centre from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Ewon who is also the Penampang MP said the first-time event organised by the his ministry aims to get the agencies under the ministry closer to the people Sabah, especially Penampang.

“Various interesting events have been arranged for the celebration, among them are Christmas songs perfomance and exhibitions by agencies under the ministry.

“It is my hope that such programme be a good start to realising the Government’s agenda in strengthening the understanding and unity among the multiracial rakyat,” he said

Among the agencies under the Entreprenur Development and Cooperative Ministry (KUSKOP) that are involved in the exhibitions are Bank Rakyat, SME Bank, TEKUN Nasional, Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM), IKMa, INSKEN, UDA Holdings Berhad, SME Corp. Malaysia, PERNAS and Amanah Ikhtiat Malaysia (AIM).

On the other hand, stage performances involve six choir groups, namely Penampang UPKO Women, St. Joseph Pogunon Youth, Catholic Community Four (KCC4), Madsiang Catholic Group Youth, Limbanak Choir Group and Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic, Kobusak.
