Hajiji Chairs GRS Supreme Council Meeting

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor, who is also the Chairman of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), chaired the GRS Supreme Council (AMT) meeting at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Friday.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairpersons of GRS, who are also the Presidents of the component parties, namely Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR), Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Joachim Gunsalam (Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS)), Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia of Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Sabah Bersatu (USNO), and Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee, Parti Maju Sabah (SAPP).

The attending Vice Chairpersons included Brig. Gen (R) Tan Sri Liew Yun Fah, who is also the President of Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah (Harapan Rakyat), and Datuk Chin Su Pin, who is the President of Parti Liberal Demokratik (LDP).

Also present were the Chief of Women's GRS, Datuk Seri Panglima Azizah Datuk Seri Panglima Mohd. Dun, Chief of Youth GRS, Datuk Jonnybone J. Kurum, Secretary Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun, Treasurer Ardino Diris, Chief of Information Datuk Joniston Bangkuai, and other Supreme Council Members (AMT) members.

Among the topics discussed at the meeting were the establishment of the State Election Machinery and the formation of the Election Management Committee.
