Hisense Maintains Global Number Two TV Ranking in 2024

KUALA LUMPUR: Hisense, a prominent global brand in home appliances and consumer electronics, has further cemented its strong position in the worldwide market. According to data from the international market research firm Omdia, Hisense's global TV shipments reached 29.14 million units in 2024, representing 14% of the global market share. The company has held the number two position globally for the period from 2022 to 2024, marking it the only TV manufacturer to achieve continuous growth for seven consecutive years.
Hisense has also firmly established itself as the leading global player in the large-screen TV market. Holding a 19.8% market share in shipments of TVs 75 inches and above, the company ranks first worldwide in this segment. Furthermore, Hisense dominates the ultra-large TV segment, with a market share of 30.3% for 98-inch and larger models, and an impressive 58.8% for 100-inch and larger models, also securing the top global position in these categories. Data from GFK and Circana indicates that Hisense TVs hold the top market position in several countries, including Japan, Australia, South Africa, and Slovenia.
