KOTA KINABALU: Influencers can leverage their platforms to educate, inspire, and uplift others, as their impact extends far beyond the digital realm.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Jeffery Kitingan remarked that the presence of influencers at the Hyperlive Impact Influencer Festival and Awards 2025 is vital for sharing information about their experiences during their visits.

He emphasised that influencers play a significant role in promoting tourism and fostering friendships within the community.

He also said that the festival serves as a powerful reminder that true influence is not about fame, but about creating positive change.

"The influencers we celebrate today are advocates, role models, and catalysts for progress. They have empowered communities, championed causes, and redefined success in the digital age," he said.

Speaking during a press conference about the Hyperlive Impact Influencer Festival and Awards 2025 he stressed that it also honour Life Champions, extraordinary individuals who have triumphed over significant challenges.

"Today, we witness the first-ever performance in Malaysia of four world-class autistic pianists. This is a testament to the power of resilience, the belief in human potential, and the importance of inclusivity," he said.

"As a society, we must persist in supporting autism awareness, creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities to shine. Let’s embrace inclusivity, nurture talent, and uplift those who need our support."

"This festival marks the beginning of a movement—a movement that promotes digital empowerment, cross-cultural collaboration, and global conversations," he said while encouraging the event co-organiser Dr. Sean Wong and his team to establish the Life Champion Concert as an annual tradition, celebrating resilience and talent in Sabah.

He also pledged support to Dr.Sean's future endeavours.

Also present during the press conference were influencers Miss International 2024, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy (Vietnam), Miss Intercontinental 2022, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc (Vietnam), award-winning digital content creator Adi Syahreza (Indonesia), renowned actor and host Nick Shen (Singapore), influencer Adelyne Velvet (Singapore), and local influencers Miss Grand Malaysia 2024 Melisha Lin, Miss Supranational 2024 Andreana Celly, Miss Globe Malaysia 2024 Lee Min Qi, and esports influencer Noel.
