KOTA KINABALU: The Maybank photography spot is a favorite among visitors and locals. It even attracted Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, Chief Executive Officer of Capital A and Strategic Advisor of AirAsia, who took a moment to pose for a photo there.

From then on, the Maybank signage made many appearances in photos of people in social media among others.

However there was a new twist in its popularity when a video of a woman posing naked there was found on social media.

A 10-second clip featuring a woman lifting her clothes and posing in front of the signboard is believed to have originated on a Chinese social media platform. However, it is now circulating widely on WhatsApp.

It is believed that the matter is now under police investigation, and authorities are expected to seek assistance from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to examine the background of the clip and the individual involved.
