KePKAS facilitating between travel show and government

KOTA KINABALU: The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment (KePKAS) is facilitating communication between the organisers of the upcoming 'Jiangsu TV Music & Travel Show: Bring Me To You' event in Sabah and government authorities.

This initiative, aimed at ensuring everything runs smoothly, follows a recent meeting between Minister Datuk Seri Christina Liew and representatives from Romantic Holiday Travel & Tours, a local agency seeking support from KePKAS for the event, which will feature seven celebrities from China.

During the meeting, Lisa Wang, Managing Director of Romantic Holiday Travel & Tours, briefed Liew on the event, highlighting that Jiangsu TV will bring a filming crew of 150. The celebrities are scheduled to perform at Lintasan Deasoka here next week. Executive Tour Coordinator Keith Ho was also in attendance.

"We welcome the filming crew and celebrities, as their presence and activities will serve as a significant boost for tourism in Sabah. Our aim is to facilitate their experience, ensuring they enjoy a smooth journey and a pleasant stay while moving from one location to another for their filming activities," the Minister stated.

Liew also urged the local authorities in Semporna to provide the necessary assistance to the Jiangsu TV filming crew and celebrities during their visit to the district for location shooting.
