PPN congratulates Musa on his appointment as new TYT

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah State Farmers' Organisation (PPN) extends its congratulations to Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman on his appointment as the new Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah (Governor).

Its Chairman, Datuk Mohd Nazri Abdullah, stated that the appointment is warmly welcomed by the farmers of Sabah because Musa has made significant contributions to the development of the state during his tenure as Chief Minister of Sabah.

"During his time in office and as the State Minister of Finance, the state's reserves saw a remarkable increase.

"Additionally, the state's revenue also continued to grow year after year under Musa's leadership," he said in a statement today.

His Majesty the King, Sultan Ibrahim, today granted the Letter of Appointment to Tun Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Aman as the new Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, effective January 1, 2025.

The ceremony took place at the Small Throne Room, National Palace, and was witnessed by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Anwar Ibrahim, and the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor.

Mohd Nazri added, "As a fellow villager from Beaufort and considering the good relationship between Musa's late father and my late father, I am confident that Sabah will continue to prosper under Musa's leadership as the new Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah."
