KOTA KINABALU: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) Sabah, in collaboration with Masjid Baiturrahman, has implemented the Ramadan Outreach Programme 2025 aimed at delivering donation baskets to the less fortunate and converts in the surrounding areas of Penampang district.

The Director of JPJ Sabah, Mohd Harris Ali, stated that the programme targets 20 recipients, consisting of individuals from the selected eight villages in the Penampang district.

“The donations are contributed by the public as well as JPJ staff, and we will personally visit and deliver the contributions to the homes of the recipients,” he mentioned before setting off in a convoy to distribute the donations.

The villages involved include Kg. Nosoob, Kg. Tuavon, Kg. Kasigui, Kg. Sugud, Kg. Kolopis, Kg. Kakahangan Babagon, Kg. Limbanak, and Kg. Maang.

The programme, which takes place over two days starting from 12th March, involves 31 officers and staff from JPJ Sabah using six vehicles.

This initiative not only showcases JPJ Sabah's concern for the community but also provides an opportunity for staff to engage in charitable activities during the month of Ramadan.
