Raya Shopping in Conjunction with the Iftar Tour

KOTA KINABALU: Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Berhad (KTC), in collaboration with the State Community Development Leadership Unit (UPPM) of Sabah, has organised the Shopping Raya programme as part of the Iftar Tour 2025, with Sepanggar serving as the fourth destination for this initiative this morning.

Fifty children from the Sepanggar area were taken to Servay Hypermarket Likas to select their Raya clothing in celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Each child received RM200 to purchase their outfits and shoes. The programme aims to alleviate the burden on less fortunate families while bringing joy to children in the lead-up to the festivities.

KTC's Executive Director, Datuk Dexter Lau, remarked that this initiative is part of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to support those in need.

He also brought along his daughter, Elizabeth, to share in this meaningful experience.

Also present were Datuk Awang Kadin, the Director of UPPM Sabah, along with community leaders from the Sepanggar area, including Datuk Mohd Razali Razi@Bob and Datuk Aziah Atoh, as well as representatives from KTC and UPPM.
