TENOM: The chairmanship of Pakatan Harapan (PH) should not continue to be a subject of dispute, as the election was conducted through a democratic process.
All witnesses adhered to democratic norms during the election, free from any coercion.
Junik Bajit, the Chief of the Tenom division of the United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO), expressed disbelief that this issue is still being contested, despite calls for those involved to move on.
"We should focus on the upcoming election and strengthen our resolve to achieve positive results," he emphasized.
In an interview with Nabalu News during the Christmas Open House, he stated that this matter should not be prolonged.
"If anyone aspires to the position, they should wait for the current PH President, Datuk Ewon Benedick, to complete his term before putting themselves forward as candidates," he added.
He expressed confidence that Ewon is the most suitable leader for PH, citing his resolute and energetic leadership.
