Retail industry exhibition draws 70,000 global attendees

SHENZHEN, CHINA:  CHINASHOP, Asia's premier exhibition for the retail industry, is set to mark its 25th edition at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Centre from 9th to 11th May, covering an unprecedented 120,000 square metres.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the event will highlight China's retail innovations across a range of sectors, including technology, infrastructure, commercial design, supply chain solutions, merchandising strategies, logistics, loss prevention, and asset protection.

Concurrent forums will feature the Consumer Goods Channel Selection Conference, the Consumer Goods Channel Marketing Innovation Summit, the China Supermarket Conference, and the inaugural All-Retail AI Spark Conference. The flagship CHINASHOP Golden Wings Awards will also recognise outstanding achievements within the industry.

As a leading technology and manufacturing hub, Shenzhen provides invaluable insights into AI applications and smart supply chains. Its advantageous location near Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia serves as a strategic platform for global retail collaboration. CHINASHOP 2025 will place a strong emphasis on AI integration, digital retail transformation, and supply chain optimisation, reflecting Shenzhen's position at the forefront of technology-driven industry advancements.

A dedicated pavilion covering 20,000 square metres will showcase trending products, spanning private-label items, health-focused goods, regional delicacies, and coffee, catering to China's rapidly expanding discount stores, membership clubs, and convenience chains.

An AI Zone will feature live demonstrations of AI-powered tools, while the All-Retail AI Spark Conference will bring together over 100 technology leaders to discuss effective AI implementation strategies.

CHINASHOP 2025 is anticipated to attract more than 900 exhibitors, over 200 industry experts, and upwards of 70,000 attendees from around the globe.
