KOTA KINABALU: Roseline Peter, a 63-year-old stroke survivor, has been bedridden for the past three months.

Residing in a cramped rented house with one of her daughters, son-in-law, and a child, Roseline requires round-the-clock care to prevent the occurrence of bedsores.

In a timely gesture, Roseline was presented with a specialised hospital bed worth over RM2k today. The bed was presented by Bryan Matasing, the Penampang Parliament Liaison Officer on behalf of the Penampang Member of Parliament Datuk Ewon Benedict.

Given Roseline's ongoing recovery needs, including milk, massages, and adult diapers, among other essentials, her daughter, Ruzian Clement, remains optimistic about her mother's eventual progress.

Expressing their gratitude, Roseline's family extended their thanks to Ewon, who also serves as the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative, for his compassionate concern and generous contribution to their family.
