SHAH ALAM: Top Glove Corporation Bhd (“Top Glove”), the world’s largest glove manufacturer, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the Platinum Trusted Brand Award in the Hygiene/Disposable Gloves category at the Reader’s Digest 27th Anniversary Malaysia Trusted Brand Awards 2025.

This achievement marks the third consecutive year that Top Glove has received this prestigious accolade.

The awards ceremony, recently held at the Grand Salon, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, celebrated brands from across the Asia Pacific region that have earned the trust and loyalty of consumers. The awards are determined entirely by consumer votes and are based on six key brand attributes: Trustworthiness, Quality, Value, Understanding of Customer Needs, Innovation, and Social Responsibility.

Reflecting its continued excellence and strong brand equity, Top Glove surpassed its competitors by a 25% margin, securing the Platinum Award, which is reserved for brands that achieve an exceptionally high score in their category, significantly outpacing their nearest rival.

Lim Cheong Guan, Managing Director of Top Glove said,  “We are truly honoured and grateful to be recognised once again by our consumers for our commitment to excellence. Winning the Platinum Award for the third consecutive year is a significant testament to the trust our stakeholders place in us."

"This accolade inspires us to continue innovating, delivering high-quality products, and maintaining a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility.”

Top Glove’s ongoing recognition in 2025 is supported by various internal enhancements that reinforce its commitment to customer satisfaction and corporate responsibility. These include a renewed customer-centric approach backed by enhanced marketing efforts and regular town hall meetings, which have fostered alignment and a stronger shared purpose among employees.

In terms of sustainability, the Group successfully completed its first shipment of natural rubber gloves to Europe, ensuring full traceability to plantation origins and achieving compliance with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) ahead of the initial deadline of 30 December 2024.

Although the enforcement of the EUDR has been postponed to 30 December 2025, Top Glove remains steadfast in its commitment to EUDR compliance and is actively implementing system upgrades during this period.

The company has also advanced its green initiatives through the Biogreen® Series gloves and conducted a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for nitrile gloves, independently reviewed by an accredited external body.
