UPKO Libaran pledged support for Ewon as PH Chairman

LIBARAN: The United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) Libaran Division Meeting Held on February 1, 2025, established an Implementation Committee for the 2025 Aidilfitri Celebration .

The celebration will be hosted in the Libaran parliamentary area in April 2025.

The meeting also focused on enhancing the UPKO Libaran election machinery in preparation for the impending Sabah State Election.

Addressing attendees, Division head Dr Peter Naintin expressed strong support for Datuk Ewon Benedick's nomination as the new Chairman of Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sabah.

Dr. Naintin highlighted the organisation's confidence in Datuk Ewon's leadership abilities, stating that they believe in his capacity to elevate PH Sabah to a higher level.

His leadership approach aligns with that of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who prioritises uplifting the people's dignity without regard to race or religion.

Dr. Naintin further stated that attendees would be heading to the Pakatan Harapan Presidential Council Meeting at the Seri Perdana Complex in Putrajaya on February 4, where they will receive the latest updates on national political developments.

This meeting, chaired by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, will also see the formal confirmation of State PH Chairmen, which have already been finalised across all states.
