UPKO Papar Christmas Open House on Jan 12

PENAMPANG: The United Progressive Kinabalu Organisation (UPKO) Papar will be holding a Christmas Open House and New Year celebrations on January 12.

UPKO Papar Division head Datuk Gilbert Sham said the venue will be at Marcellus Tambud's residence in Kg Punson Kinarut

Expected to start from 9am, the event will be attended by UPKO President Datuk Ewon Benedick and other party stalwarts.

Gilbert said one of the highlights of the event will be the presentation of contribution to 17 chapels.

"There will be entertainment and lucky draws during the event," he shared.

According to him, the celebration aimed to foster friendship and camaraderie not only among members, but with the Papar community, regardless of their political affiliations.

"We also hope that the celebrations will mirror the togetherness we have in the days to come."
