Vendors accorded digitisation information

22 November 2024

KOTA BELUD: The Kadamaian State Assembly Service Centre recently collaborated with the Data PPK Secretariat, also known as the Alliance of Associations of Vendors and Small Traders of Sabah (G3PNS), to collect data on small traders in the Kiau Zone. This initiative took place at the open hall of the weekly Kiau Tamu, a rural market.

The Entrepreneur Data Collection programme offers numerous benefits to vendors and small traders, all provided free of charge. Attendees learned about key resources such as the Digital QR profile and Product E-catalog, along with information regarding the registration and management system for associations and communities. Participants also received digital membership certificates and gained access to recording applications.

Engaging in the Entrepreneur Data Collection programme (Data PPK) provides several advantages, including access to educational programs and entrepreneurship development specifically designed for vendors and small traders. Additionally, participants can tap into various grants and funding opportunities from government agencies and financial institutions, as well as a suite of digital resources that streamline business operations through the Data PPK ecosystem.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to access entrepreneurial development consulting services and participate in various sales programmes, booths, and vendor events organised by government agencies, thereby enhancing their business prospects and community engagement.
